NYPD Officer Couldn’t Contain Herself When She Found Herself In The Same Room As Conor McGregor!

There’s no shame in getting starstruck by seeing your idols in the flesh. A New York Police officer broke down in tears after meeting her favourite UFC fighter, Connor McGregor.

UFC 205 is almost upon us. Officials expect a packed Madison Square Garden this weekend as the Irishman faces off with Eddie Alvarez. The two had an intense press conference recently, with McGregor threatening Alvarez with a chair.

The police officer, who also happened to be Irish, told McGregor that he was her favourite athlete, which then led to a heartfelt hug between the two and a couple of tears. It was clearly an emotional moment for McGregor as well, who thanked his fan and went on his way, presumably to prepare for the fight.

With tensions between McGregor and Alvarez high, the Big Apple is in for a real show. The two first squared off in their September press-conference with McGregor pretty much winning the verbal duel.

“I’m gonna wrap one on one shoulder, I’m gonna wrap the other on the other shoulder, and they’re gonna need a f***ing army to come take them belts off me,” McGregor said when asked what he’d do if he won both belts.

Unfortunately, UFC president Dana White put a plug on those dreams, saying that McGregor will have to relinquish one of his belts. And when Alvarez tried to tell him to calm down, the always energetic McGregor went on the offensive.

“Or what? Or what? What you gonna do? Or what? You gonna do something over there? Shut your f***ing mouth. I run New York. I run this whole sh*t. And Mystic Mac predicts I’m gonna KO you inside one round.” Sure, he can talk the talk, but can he walk the walk?

His impeccable fighting record suggests he can, but Alvarez is no pushover. Needless to say, it’s going to be an interesting fight, one you might not want to miss.
